There are voices inside my head,
I am not crazy, but its true,
they are different parts of me,
why so many, I haven't a clue
One would call me social,
another might say I am shy,
some would call me lively
Others couldn't read any side
There is one of me for public,
I could name them if I wanted
there is the one who writes poetry,
but keeps a diary undaunted
There is one who is indignant for a cause,
another stands for women's rights
When it comes down to the bottom line
they are different sides of me, my brain ignites
I bet if you dissected you,
you would find you had many sides too,
there is just a fine line for being crazy
you have not sat down and tried, but its true
This was awesome, Samantha! Psychological, intelligent, and creative! Thank you for sharing such an important and meaningful poem with the community!
Oh how many times I have tried to tell friends that we are capable of feeling many emotions at the same time each representing a different concern a different level of intent. And it is our ability to choose which part of us we want to live in today. I usually get looked at like I must be crazy. This especially happens when someone is overwhelmed by something and they can't seem to move on. Good job Samantha!
Thank you Kyle and Lee for your kind comments
We definitely all have multiple facets to our personality...
