As the morning rain covers a rose, So shall my
love for you grow. In time, though the petals may
fade, my love for you will forever remain. A rose
wilts, droops, and loses its color, And though time
passes us by you will always be my lover. We may
wrinkle, old age will set in, But forever and more, you
will remain my lover and friend. The heart will
outlast, it endures many things. There is pain, perhaps
bitterness, but oh what a deep love it can bring. You want
to shout, tell the world, He is my man, I am his
girl. You want to hold tightly forever never release, He
is your life, your world, your inner peace. And
as the rose wilts, droops, and loses its
color, we will always have each other.
