Raging tides scattered winds,
My shattered heart at our love’s end.
Time means nothing, it has no age,
Only the last chapter, our final page.
A restless love I so wanted to last,
Now the tears come flowing way too fast.
The silent whisper, the burn of pain,
Trying to release, the agony of my soul’s flame.
It hurts. The suffering can never be undone,
I want to give up, just tell you you’ve won.
The stakes though, they run way too high,
It could only bring my downfall as I say goodbye.
I see your face as I close my eyes,
I remember the feel as you held me at night.
Your touch, your smile, your kiss, and now you’re gone,
and through my tears, I realize I am all alone.
