Romantic illusions pervade my mind

Beyond the periphery of reason

Shattering the barriers of age and time

That promises no future ahead

The complexity of love and human emotions

Overrides societal norms and pragmatic notions

But offers no hope to pursue a love affair

Doomed to heartaches and separation.
