Darkness falls upon the environs
Night bends to a deepening shade of grey
Crickets serenade a dancing zephyr
The sky is pinned with stars and the moon
The water gliding willfully
Through rivers and streams
Singing songs of appease
I inhale the scents of Nature
The wafting smell of gardenias
So redolent with the fragrance of the surroundings
Intoxicated spirit, enamoured by Nature's beauty
In reverence, I look up to the Heavens

Susmita Mukherjee, so many of your poems seem to have such a positive glow around them. I really like that!
You are so much more, but you give so little why? Not that I am thankful. I see you are a handful, but little is reaching me! Oh, I must come to you under your heavy gush, as the life of the earth flows over my head.
