Poetry the meaning of life, a world full of joy, a world full of strife.

Do they go hand in hand, as we walk upon this land?

Can they be found in the same place?

Are the meanings etched upon your face?

Do you need to strive to survive to truly know joy?

Who knows for sure what was meant what was not .

There is a whole mix of feelings and emotions in the pot.

For to suffer is to be humble of mind - right?

Is it necessary to be so unfair?

Do children really need to know the suffering cancer brings?

Do they need to be made homeless, lose all their precious things?

Do we need children that live hand to mouth, eating food off the street, not knowing where the next meal will be found?

Do we need people that are deaf no longer hearing sound?

Do people need to lose their sight, only memories to recall?

People who could once walk now needing a chair?

Some people worst than most needing full time care?

Thinking about the meaning of life, thinking of all the strife.

The answer has to be Yes, we need you all, life is precious and we are all life.

We need to find a better way for us all to fit.

So we learn ways to cope, fulfill all our lives with hope.

Let's rejoice in the diversity that surrounds, help each other, new remedies to be found.

So fellow poets you have the power to be the hero of the hour.

Freedom to express all that you see lucid and colloquially.

So write fellow poets without fear let us know what you see and hear.

Write about what's wrong and right.

Write about what's close to you or someone you love or know.
