If I were to cry just one single tear

For the sacrifice of each soldier over the years,

A tremendous flood like no other I have ever seen,

For the greatest warriors protecting America’s dreams.

Rainbows of tears sparkling the heavens above,

God’s open arms holding tightly the ones we love

Oh, sweet freedom not to be taken so light,

For our American soldiers fight hard for that right.

May God guide your footsteps and your faith never lack,

For we need you, brave ones, we need you back.

Thank you, I would shout if you could but hear,

For each day I would cry but one single tear.
