DISTANT DREAM

The befriendly nature among various human races

The flowery and serene paths of everlasting peace,

The enlightening power, a human mind possess,

The ‘discriminate’ power humans are bestowed with;

Altogether crown us as, ‘the righteous living beings’.

The depths of fear, anguish, starvation and death

Enforced on co-humans for achieving selfish goals,

Not only have they become grave hurdles for peace,

But have divided humanity on caste, creed and race.

Averting prosperity; they break unity amongst us.

The dream for ‘a harmonious world’ looks scattered

The hope for ‘world without borders’ looks shattered,

Without prejudice between humans and human race

The world should be freed from violence and distrust

Above all, people are freed from the grapple of conflicts.

The distant dream of a world, full of love and concern

Where a shelter for the deserving and needy is ever-open;

Where we can invite the deprived ones to live in harmony,

To embolden and to drive away the fear of death in many

Where, each victim can lead life with honor and integrity.

An integrated world, a strong and exceptional universe

Under the umbrella of awesome and beautiful nature

What an honor with unison? What a notion to nurture?

To spread Love and Light Across the Globe, yes, oh dear!

We should dislodge the elements of hate, enmity and fear.
