My Angel

Dedicated to my daughter

When I look at you, I see innocence.

Your smile lights up your face.

The light in your eyes are a reflection,

Of God’s marvelous grace.

When you hold my finger, I see trust.

Trust in me to not let you fall.

To never stop loving you,

Regardless of what life installs.

When I hold you, I feel warmth.

We take comfort in God’s plans.

I can't express how much I love you,

You hold my heart in your tiny hands.

With love I sing a lullaby,

Off to sleep you drift.

You are my Angel,

God’s precious gift.
