So ill the shadows midnight rage,
Step up, see how heartily this war we wage.
Ever onward the faith doth twist,
Captured by rain, drizzle by summers mist.
Farewell the journey be far and long,
Reckless appeal to the savage winds song.
Ghosts that ride flaunting their haunted veils,
Scream; just scream if all else fails.
I hear you, I hear you, your voice so near,
Fleet of foot through memories, causing immense fear.
I fly. Journeying through tricks and traps so small,
Battered wings unprotected, now my spiral downfall.
I cry, “Let them take me, let them take me,” Sorrow with no end,
Forward and back, back and forward, and back once again.
My heart screams loudly looking through dead eyes,
The darkness reaches, I have lost. My soul cries.
