Like the sun he shines through the day
They say love makes you blind but
I've only been starring at the sun up high
Soon that beautiful sun will drift away
To let the moon and stars take his place to light up the black sky
He is the nicest of all stars I wish I could stay until the next day
They remind me of his eyes just the way they shine when I look at them
If only he didn't live so far away
At night my head fills up with the sweetest dreams of this memorable gem
For he came and changed my world just the way seasons change nature's way
The way you see nature going a whole new way just by one change of them
Like when flowers start opening and trees leaves growing I know that it is the month of May
He is sweeter then the sweetest strawberry in the field far away
As long as the long nice days are here to stay
He will always be in my heart even if he lives far away
Description
This sonnet talks about this guy who lives far away that I met. He brings joy and happiness to my days when I talk to him. At the same time I'm comparing nature's beauty to him, like when I look at the stars I see his beautiful brown hazel eyes shining when I look into them. Also, the way that he is really nice and sweet more than the sweetest strawberry. Everyday I can’t stop thinking about him, even when I sleep. On the other hand he lives in Toronto which is really far, but it doesn't stop me from giving him a place in my heart. I wrote this kind of sonnet to show that long distance love can exist. To conclude my dad once had a love from Vancouver and they talked on the internet and phone, anything is possible.

There is a popular quote that says, "Love has no boundaries." This poem is proof that this also includes 'distance!' Thank you so much for sharing this poem with us. It is very nice and gracious.
