My parents have been separated by the evil called gambling I’ve been having nightmares ever since that day They were heavenly matching Mom knew the exact words to say While dad could cook almost anything But now that they’re love faded my dad couldn’t stay Sometimes I wish I could turn back time to change everything But I guess when something happens it happens, I can’t change nature’s way My mom tells me that if they stayed together she’d still be suffering Because my dad hardly had any money to help her pay Everyday I’d see them fight and my mom was left crying From now and until this day My love for them will never be left dying every single day Even though I don’t see my dad everyday
Description
This sonnet is talking about my parent’s divorce. I wrote that my dad had gambling problems, so when it came to paying something he was broke. My parents would always be fighting about their money problems every day. Until one day my mom got fed up, so she went to get divorced because it made her sick and cry. At the same time I added my wishes of having my parents back together. Also that I can’t turn back time even if I want them together. They were perfect together, my dad cooked and my mom baked deserts. What happened, happened and I will always love them through good and bad times.
