I do not think it essential to remember the day of a loved one’s passing. But rather, remember their life, what it meant for you, and what it stood for, for them. I think these be one of the ‘lost treasures’ in life.
I agree. After 27 years I do forget the day but not the month and year my mom and aunt died. I think it's more about how our memories work. I have a bad one, can't even memorize the poems I wrote.
