when your hand first reached mine i felt a current of tenderness running between our palms i felt i was a bit closer to happiness you made me believe in eternity Elysium between your arms your heart beats made my watch ticking, killing time fast as we meet and part yearning the sun to rise praying the roads will be empty so the bus take me fast to you so i can take your hand in mine so i can post a kiss on your lips ending a day of missing you around to start the day with when we're together i don't feel the found now i stand my ground when i can't see you any more nothing seems like before as i curse the sunrise and our lies i see us in every street in every corner of this mad city reviving the good all times when you were mine when we used to dream the same dream and in the morning we work hard to make it real and now as i wake up i don't remember my dream now I'm in a crazy realm a stranger in this town when you're not around i know you're somewhere happy? may be in pain! sometimes i feel that i still love you wish you happiness and sometimes the smirking devil in me grows envious and i wish you're in sorrow but as soon as i hate myself and i try to kill the devil in me i chase the ghosts of jealousy i try to remember how great you made me be and in the darkness of long night tears are my only remedy how can love and hate be at the heart and toward the same person how could you leave without a proper goodbye how could i fall for you when i knew that forever is just an illusion but i remember the first time my eyes met yours the first time your hand reached mine it's true it was out of our hands but it's true what we felt but don't you try to say you loved me more than i did don't say you're suffering because without your heart ticking next to mine i feel dead i curse the sun true, it rises but without you light my world the sun doesn't really shine
