Just one tear, passed her eye,
That one tear to innocent to lie.
God gave her the tear to hold tight,
The strength from within, the will to fight.
Just one tear, a cry from the soul,
Passage of years had taken their toll.
Just let the tears escape, she did not dare,
Just cry, cry let them fall everywhere.
Just one tear for a shattered heart- beat,
A love gone wrong, a sigh of defeat.
He said he loved me, just one more lie,
But still she could not release the tears to cry.
Just one tear for a life lived all alone,
Tucked in emotions, heart made of stone.
Just cry, cry cleanse your aching soul,
And the tears came, losing all control.
