People alter, positiveness wanes Anger creeps

Daring to be let out.

Danger will specify its prey

Others' dismay. Turn the other cheek they say. Only inviting more pain.

The forced smile, its new reflective moment,

Yesterday

once placed in a neat compartment now examined in full view.

Collaboration & camaraderie replaced with sharp cutting barbs.

Doubt creeps slyly

Finding nothing yet still obliterating innocent hearts in its wake

Welcome Divisiveness;

Our Enemy.

Born from transparency trust and unintended consequences

Now in the fray

what was once family lies one individual after another fighting for another day.

We requested transparency. Thought we were ready

We invited the premise but the powerful had an excellent alternate implementation suite.

They; head down walk away

Divisiveness; Enemy Seat at the table

a place in camp

Disease within the cure

Wait...

Maybe we were right

Defend the truth.

Stand our ground

Demand Equality.

No one said this was easy.

Be Diligent

Be Smart

Beware

But most importantly

Be Right

Stay on the side of truth.
