Come the midnight, dance my soul,
Listen my heart feel the music flow.
Bare the feet to the wildness of the rhythm’s move,
Close my eyes let the music soothe.
My body moves a sensuous beat,
Cast a smile, feel the night’s heat.
Ancient the spell by the moonlight cast,
Not worrying of tomorrow, forgetting the past.
This moment alone, a vision, a memory to come,
Perhaps it will be forgotten with the morning sun.
But for now, my soul is alive my heart holds true,
A slight tear in memory of you.
