Imagine
By Dave Begley Poet
photography by foundations of peace
Imagine there’s no internet
No phones or remote control
No scooby doo or bagpuss
Or Ben ten or paw patrol
Imagine no religion or terror on our land
Imagine you were stuck
There would be a helping hand
Imagine there were no cars or bikes
No lorries, trains or planes
No hospitals no sickness
No muggings in dark lanes
Imagine there was no government
No money, bills or tax
No offices to work in
No printers, banks or fax
Imagine we had no war,
Or cared of colour skin
Imagine no more bullets
or guns to put them in
Imagine world wide peace
Where every body cared
And no one had to hide
Or be alone or even scared
Imagine always something
For the kids to do and play
Wouldn’t that be wonderful
Even for one day.
