I've lost my dreams, where did they go? I spend all my time searching for them, you know. They were here, just the other day, but now they Are gone, faded away. They're out there, floating around somewhere in The world. I know I had them, when I was just a little girl.
Where are my dreams, where do I long to be? Where Is my king, is he looking for me? I wander about, days on end, searching for dreams I treasured the most. I give up. They're lost.
Along he came, a creature so wild, and untamed. I looked for him, as he quietly whispered my name. His voice traveled on the midsummer's breeze, Blending with the rustling of the leaves. I stopped. Why am I chasing a phantom not there? Why go on, when I've searched everywhere?
Nightfall approached, the moon cast its golden glow, and here I am, still waiting for my lost dreams to show. A faint whisper, so far, yet so near, the message it spoke, was so very clear," I have your dreams, I've stolen your heart, and without it, your dreams fall apart.
If you want your heart, come find me. I cannot tell you, where I'll be." The magic only comes, for the ones that search for true love. Come to me, find me, and when you do, all your dreams, will come true." So scary this voice, thoughts swirl in my head. He stole my heart? Is that what he said?
He must Give it back, for I need it with me, I have to find him, and bring back my dreams. Through the forest I ran, so desperately, I had to find the one that stole my dreams. Where to look, what to do? Only the haunting voice knew. The breeze was blowing harder now, the moon disappeared, and the rains came. Invisible fingers touched my hand. I jerked away, they touched again.
An electric current, shot through me, and I wondered where the magical hand would lead. The rains came steadily now, but there were no clouds in the sky. I wanted to turn, wanted to kiss this magical world, good-bye. I had no choice, but to follow its trail. At the end would it be heaven or hell?
A cave? Where did it come from? I knew these woods, for they were my home. Something was wrong here, something, not quite right. There he stood, bathed in the golden glow, of a magical light. In his hands, my heart, he held, and in a deadly faint, I fell.
" Dreams, magical, mystical dreams," a voice came from afar," We never lose our dreams, no matter who we are, sometimes they become misplaced, sometimes we lose touch, but too many dreams, are never enough."
I realized, I still had my dreams, and before me, was my king. He had my heart, he was my dream, he was all I would ever need.
