Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned every day in some way, Temptations are much so easy to sin, I try hard to fight, but sometimes I do not win. Please help me conquer the demons that shake my faith, Just hold me tightly. Show me the way. As the trials of each day seep into my soul, Father, please give me the love and strength to maintain control. Let no harsh words pass my lips, nor any violence pass my fingertips. Give me a spirit of love, goodness, and peace, Show me how to conquer my fears as each breath I release. Forgiveness. It is a treasured emotion. I pray that I can forgive as you do, with love and devotion. Father in your hands I place this human shell, Knowing that in my soul all is well. With your help and guidance each day and night, I know that through it all I will be alright.
