Easter means different things to different people,

To some it means nothing at all

To me it means the day Jesus rose,

When Mary came to call

Easter is a sign of many things

Spring is in the air,

Easter means that very soon

The honey suckles and bees will be everywhere

Easter means family, I get to spend time with,

It means potatoe salad, fried chicken and brunch.

It means seeing old friends and our minister,

who we really don't see that much.

Easter reminds me of warm love,

toasting in spring rain,

Easter reminds me that very soon,

My daughters baby will be born, as a mother she will train

Easter is a treasure with brightly colored eggs,

That took hours to boil and decorate

Children will be hunting for, with fast running legs

watching them will be great..

It really moves my heart,

when I remember for me what Easter is about,

If you believe as I do, Jesus suffered, then rose from the dead,

Easter holds much clout.
