Darkness

The lights went out, the town fell under a blanket of night into darkness we ventured, let it engulf us in tranquillity star filled sky above glowed bright like neon lights so vivid and vast, a universe of possibility

Our hearts played the beat, the stars lit the night spent so long blinded by the city, now at ease darkness gave us a new view, a world so bright held you tight, against the cool nights breeze

In this galaxy so big, we found a love to give to let our feelings show, our fears undone in this darkness we found what we need to live two souls collide, like day and night, to create one

As the lights are powered up again, the world looks new all so much more colourful, bright, unworn so much to explore, just me and you in this land reborn
