Can you feel It?
Would you listen to my heart as you tell me good-bye?
Would you feel my pain as I release these tears that I cry?
Can you know the torture of the words that burn my soul?
OR the undeniable agony of letting you go.
Silently at first slowly, yes slowly slipping away,
So totally unnoticed till it became much too late.
Never realizing what we had till the day it began to disappear,
Unappreciative of past times memories that we once held dear.
Shadows over the moon, the stars seem so dull this night,
I see a couple, lovers dance by the campfire light.
A misty haze enfolds the tranquil scene,
Once that was real, but as I look it is nothing but a disappearing
dream.
Give me back my heart that you so easily stole,
Please replace this anguish with the return of my soul.
Winter approaches I see my breath in the air,
And still, I cry for your memory remains everywhere.
