On the edge of silver butterfly wings,
Await dragons, knights, kings and queens.
Ere long the magicians book opens wide,
Sparkling dust, beckoning come, come inside.
Aye and the story unfolds on yon stormy seas,
A ghostly pirate ship, disappear, here, ah a tease.
“Land Ho,” From where did the cry originate?
Underneath the murky depths, does it...hesitate?
What manner of creature this, that hides so deep?
Will not let you seek shore, forever stuck on a coral reef?
Sunken ship the nether world, skulls red eyes, that bleed,
Beware those that pass this way, all you land lubbers take heed.
Whirlwind, twisting, twirling, eyes that sparkle and glow,
Haunting visions, memories left behind, thoughts slow,
Laughter then, a twinkle in the night, the valley of the fairy’s,
Amazing this world, look, on a dragonfly they are carried.
“I beg of you, run. escape you must for he has a terrible need,
All it takes is a touch, and your gold becomes his greed.
Some say he was a king, Midas he was called by name,
His daughter turned, so became his fortune and fame.
Oh, there is more, so much more if you so choose,
Fuel your imagination, with a book you never loose.
Some say you can lose yourself in its awesome power,
Believe it I must, I’m opening a book amid wildflowers
