I traveled a part of the world
In abiding ecstasy
Experiencing new customs and culture
Opening a new world to me
But it came to a sudden halt
With excruciating pain
That stopped my expedition
People say an evil eye
Was cast on my happiness
You shouldn't flaunt what you see
For not all well wishes for thee.
