The love that once was, may not always be.
Grab it tight, clutch it as if that love were a sword.
With that sword, you must fight to keep love alive.
Safeguarding your hearts from outside influence.
Every day is a battle to remain behind tall walls.
Temptation is the ballista and lust the army at the walls.
Let them not breach you heart.
Stay the course, defend your love, for the world looks mighty outside the gates, but it is filled with trickery and malfeasance.
It will whisper sweet nothings, only to remove sure footing and watch you burn, all while laughing from the shadows.
Love only lasts if you are willing to work for it, fight for it and die because of it.
Love is the greatest force mankind knows.
It can bend a single individual to greatness or throw them into darkness and despair.
It can forge a nation routed in moral value or destroy when that love turns treacherous, and only a lust for greed and power remains.
