I am new here and I've never really shared my poetry until I started going to open mic poetry readings.I tried writing a novel years ago but was told it would never be published so I shut down and stopped writing complete until my son wrote a poem that was exactly the same as one I wrote years ago which he never knew about

From that point on ive began to write again. We are jointly working on a poetry book as well as a book about domestic violence.which I will post a poem from that book shortly
