If I could only capture the stars that held the moon lit night, Wrap you up so tightly bathe you in their silver light. If only I could weave the magic to tame your aching soul, And tell you true these things you wish to know.
If I could only reach out tell you that I love you, It would not matter the big things only the little things that you do. If you only knew the way I feel each time I see you smile, And the deep void when I don't see you for a while.
Destined always to love souls forever entwined, No matter where I journey you invade my thoughts my mind. But no; though I wish, it doesn't mean it is meant to be, I love you. Smile for me again and set my heart to fly free
Boom, I hear the sound of lighting that is flashing just above me
I must not dawdle on this trail, for danger waits, a storm’s a-brewing with Arctic winds blowing across this alpine lake
The sky is turning dark as I move along the mountain path; The Mountains that surround me are disappearing into the night
In the distance I see the light of safety the mountain lodge a waits me.
Just across the lake from me like a beacon it calls to me the lodge stick out in this wilderness, I must not hesitate to reach that place it just a mile or two until I’m in my warm dry room.
On the south end of this glacier lake as I’m walking fast I see some lonely rocks that lead to a quiet island that home to one lone tree which stand tall against the howling wind.
Boom goes the sound through the mountain pass as the light strikes that forlorn tree, God I pray don’t let it hit me
I’m almost there
Oh God, I pledge to thee, save my soul from this here trial and I will never wander
I’ll keep myself safe and sound talking with the bartender!
Stormy Weather
this scene looks so dark and dreary
maybe I'm not seeing clearly
stormy weather doesn't last
ride it out it soon will pass

A walk in the Woods
Boom, I hear the sound of lighting that is flashing just above me

This isn't real.
You're always fucking with me,
letting me think something exists
just to get my hopes up
CRUSHED.
Not this time.
Your promise that you'll
unlock the door
and set me free there
is a lie. You'll never let me
do anything but rot
and listen to your cruel laughter
through the grate.
Alaska Wilderness
Bright sun
low in the sky
allows wild game to seek
shelter from hungry men who want
their meat.
Snow moon
illuminates
dark, bleak December sky
letting weary, frozen hunters
trudge home.
In Earth....
There is beauty and grace in every storm we may find.
The lighting strikes, the thunder sounds, and cause the deer to endlessly bound.
The Earth itself, knows no bounds it knows not time, nor marks it.
She leaves that for mere mortals who wear watches, and hang up clocks to mark their time.
And every year add notches.
Fishing is Over
A beautiful site indeed
it fulfills many a need.
Seclusion and quiet
also helping my diet.
Those weeds over there
are making me stare.
Either trout or a bass
just waiting for my to cast.
but then I see the flash
so I make a mad dash
Back to my safety of my car
viewing the storm from afar.
getting struck by lightning
would certainly be bad.
Turning the fishing trip
into the worst I ever had.
