Hope and Despair shared a place in the air, for all to see and become aware that there are choices to be made down here. There are things to be done, not sitting around thinking of fun. I stopped by Hope for a bit, and decided to quit, and opted for Despair. Of the choice I made I am quite aware. I may be in despair at this moment in time, but I made my way, and am doing just fine. Who needs Hope? Hope is a way of grasping for straws, wishing for a Lottery-Draw... I will make my own way, right or wrong, to live in the present, and not worry about the future, leave those worries for all the other moochers... Of Hope and Despair...
I cry these tears drowning in painful sorrow,
I cannot get through today, how will I face tomorrow?
Merciless waves of anger and despair,
Hold my mind captive I know longer care.
A wee little voice crawls through the haze,
Do not give in, move. Break free from your daze.
A world of hope exists, come follow me,
Spread your wings and fly free.

Two signs at a crossroads
Which one will I take
One way is Despair, when I get there what will I find is it the recesses of my mind
Will I be able to come back from Despair or is it only one way to there
The second way is Hope, it sounds so much better but if it fails where will I go
If I choose Hope will I be selling my soul
Only to end up in Despair that does not seem very fair
As we walk the thin line between Despair and Hope let's Hope that we can keep Despair at bay
Live our lives in Hope every day.
LIFE’S ROAD
At some point in one’s life we come to a junction
A place in the road where we must decide which direction we must go
The road to the left is full of despair sometime it seems the only way
But you know deep down in you, you can’t give up this way
The road to the right maybe more challenging, but then again hope is on the horizon
So take a deep breath my friend, for within you are things you need
A brain to think, eyes to see also you have two ears
On your head to hear the words you need
You also have a voice to state your point with conviction
But on this road you will need much more, a heart that will not quit, and most of all a caring soul
So take the road to the right in the end you won’t regret it!
m
We listen to your anguish
But didn’t hear
The underlying words
You were afraid to speak
The pain held deep within
Your heart and mind
That we couldn’t quite understand
The words your brain
Told you were true
Were lies to hold you captive
In this vicious cycle
Of depression and bipolar bursts
Hope and despair
Would that we could find
A cure to help all those who suffer
Admitting that it’s a disease
Not anyone’s fault
Please reach out
To friends and family
For we love you see
Don’t take yourself
From us in a final act
Please.

which sign will you follow hope or despair....
whichever you choose you're sure to get there...
Hope shines a light that softens despair,
Hope lifts a soul to heights when we care.
Hope allows life fulfil its rich journey
No room for despair, only hope has no mercy.
Despair may stare at you
eyes may swell up with
tears,
ears may close doors to
symphony of joy,
tongue may go on
vacation,
legs remain crossed,
palms refuse to thunder
defeat despair with hope.
Is the road so cloudy?
Let hope lights your
pathway,
Is your pathway overgrown
with weeds?
Let hope clears the field
and replace with wheat;
hope may be shorter
than despair,
but stronger in action.
Let hope conquer despair,
cope with hope,
defeat despair,
rope yourself with hope,
but disregard despair.
