Thank you so very much - it is a lovely picture and a wonderful prompt.
ScottfSavage that was truly a great write.
I took a walk today
knowing peace in Nature's hand
she led the way,
I simply knew the path
a height I have reached before
again with similar outcome
knowing feet are firm on ground
a flight in Her hand
would let me land again.
I walked the wood
having a natural tone,
a place where sitting I once told
my children of the beauty in time,
looking at the landscape
I could walk to the edge
I could imagine the forest around me,
letting me be free,
letting me land, again.
I stood on the end of a part of nature
let my humanity show its own
vulnerable sea of reality,
I would descend in sweet elegance
in the grasp of Nature's hand.
She stands on a tree that is no more,
A memory...
She would soar to honor it
As birds through evolutions did before.
Fly Free
Suddenly in flight gathering my wings,
Soaring through the air freedom sings.
Breathe me life, shelter me natures sound,
Deliver me from darkness, turn me around.
I feel so free like a whirl winds active flight,
Trailing the fireflies, golden visions in the night.
I fly among the stars sparkling diamonds in the sky,
And this I wonder, why do we let time pass us by?
Butterflies and rainbows restless hearts always know,
To find your soul accept the challenge from the moons glow.
Upon a star I sit , arms stretched in a wide embrace,
Holding you in my dreams with a smile upon my face.

Free as the breeze she embraces the moment of tranquility
Loving the natures realm of quiet freedom
Outstretched arms surrendering to the wind Gods
She makes peace
Flight
Flight, released, untethered,
freed from the mortal coil
an act of will, of liberation
from our belief structure
from the weights that bind us
that hold us to the earth
She seeks to be at one with nature
Her slender body stands on the fallen tree
The landscape of trees and bushes all green and mature
Stretching forward gracefully
She is light of body and mind
This retreat is only known to her, a totally lovely find
For now she will continue to visit daily
Keeping her grounded to the universe
Body, mind, chapter and verse
