Totally Me
Totally Me…
Wake in the morning;
Happiness is the goal
Spend time with the family
Make my life whole
Be the ultimate parent,
Be the best at work,
Never be negligent,
Never walk away, or try to shirk
Continue to help others
Do the same for yourself,
Hit that target without any bother
Then relax on your good health
Become the total human being
Visualise what your aura can deliver
Your actions are what we’ll be seeing
The anticipation will leave us all a ‘quiver’…
The only goal I fulfill with New Year’s lists of resolutions
Is to write a list of New Year’s resolutions.
All else is arrogance, naivety and delusion
Fueled by spiked eggnog and a stomach Santa might envy
If Santa envied stomachs. It has becometh clear
My fear is that if I don’t make these lists
I won’t be able to enjoy the cornucopia of living
And sinning quite so well if I don’t have the guilt
Of breaking them quite well,
The spice of obese or overindulgent hell.
