Take a few minutes to write a short poem about what you see! Have fun and be creative!
Plenty of Dandelions, either big or small
We bask in their presence one and all.
Lord of the eternity, we attain his glory
Let all the halo of light tell us a story.
Bright and luminous, they fly in the air
Soft like the silk, you find them rare
Like the spokes of a wheel, the carriage pulls
Cinderella behind, and her prince does rules.
There are things my friend that look like other things;
I see a closeup of a dandelion that looks like electricity.
So if I look inside where too many things seem to hide
What is there that looks like me?
Metaphors are wonderful but lie often in their glory,
They let you see a thing but it’s only a translation of a story.
Every nuance in the image shows us things that are not there
But if well constructed we accept the deceptions
Because the kernel does often let us share
Understanding on a level we might not know
Since though painted in warped colors it can show
The essence of the whole.
I see something hopeful when I think positively, that all is not lost. Brain cells receive electrolytes Messages to all systems go. A life that has truly found peace, with love as its wings.
